Diversified Chiropractic Technique
Diversified is a traditional manual chiropractic technique that involves precise, hands-on adjustments to restore proper motion and alignment in the spine and extremities.
This technique is commonly used to address joint restrictions, improve mobility, and reduce pain associated with spinal dysfunction. It is one of the most widely used chiropractic methods and allows for highly targeted, individualized adjustments based on patient presentation.

Drop Table/ Thompson Technique
The drop table technique is a chiropractic adjusting method that uses a specially designed table with segmented sections that gently “drop” a small distance during the adjustment. This drop mechanism allows the body to move with minimal force while assisting the chiropractor in delivering a precise and controlled adjustment.
At HealthQuest Chiropractic, this technique is often used to help restore normal joint motion in the spine and pelvis while maintaining a comfortable, low-force experience for the patient. It is especially helpful for individuals who prefer a gentler approach or who may be sensitive to manual adjustments.
The drop table technique is commonly used to address spinal restrictions, postural imbalances, and mechanical dysfunction in a way that is efficient, comfortable, and effective.

Spring Loaded Instrument Technique
Instrument-assisted adjusting uses a handheld, spring-loaded device to deliver controlled, low-force impulses to specific areas of the spine or extremities.
This approach is often used for patients who prefer a gentler technique or in areas where traditional manual adjustments may not be appropriate. It allows for precise targeting of joints while minimizing force and increasing patient comfort.

Electrical/ Mechanical Instrument Adjusting
This technique uses an electrical/mechanical handheld instrument to deliver a quick, low-force adjustment to specific joints. This method is designed to restore motion in restricted joints in a gentle and controlled way. It is commonly used for patients who prefer a low-force approach, including those with acute pain, sensitivity, or certain mobility limitations

Cupping
Cupping therapy is a soft tissue technique used to help improve circulation, reduce muscle tightness, and promote recovery in overworked or restricted tissues.
By creating gentle suction on the skin, cupping may help release fascial tension, improve blood flow, and assist in reducing muscular discomfort.
It is often used alongside chiropractic care to support recovery and enhance mobility in areas of chronic tightness or overuse.

Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology taping is a therapeutic technique used to support muscles and joints without restricting normal movement. The elastic tape is applied in specific patterns to help reduce strain on injured or overworked areas, improve proprioception (body awareness), and support the body’s natural healing process.
At HealthQuest Chiropractic, kinesiology taping may be used as an adjunct to chiropractic care for conditions such as muscle strain, joint irritation, sports injuries, and postural imbalances. It can help reduce discomfort during movement, provide light support to unstable areas, and assist in recovery between treatments.
Kinesiology taping is not a standalone treatment, but rather a supportive tool used to enhance function, improve comfort, and help you stay active during the healing process.
